Satires Of Life

Satire:

“Is a form in art or writing which ridicules either a person, government, or an institution, often through the use of humor …Although satire is usually meant to be humorous, its greater purpose is often constructive social criticism, using wit to draw attention to both particular and wider issues in society.” (Wikipedia)

Satire is a powerful weapon when used effectively and appropriately; but it’s also a risky one, too – which is probably a big reason why it remains so fascinating for authors and audiences alike.” (Evan Gottlieb, Oregon State University Professor of British Literature)

O Canada

For more than a decade now, I have been fascinated with Canada’s politicians. And I have been so thankful to them because they are so much of an entertainment. This amusement has led me to make a blog especially for them. The first post, of course, features the Prime Minister of Canada.
